Anguizola Law (“I,” “me,” or “my”), based in Panama City, Republic of Panama, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and the rights you have over it under Panama’s Law No. 81 of 2019 on the Protection of Personal Data and its implementing regulations (Executive Decree No. 285 of 2021).
The only personal data this website collects is what you choose to submit through the contact form: your name, email address, and the content of your message (and a subject line, if provided). This site does not use advertising cookies or behavioral tracking, and does not require you to create an account.
Information submitted through the contact form is used solely to respond to your inquiry. It is not used for marketing, added to a mailing list, or sold or shared with third parties, except as described below.
This website is hosted on Netlify. When you submit the contact form, Netlify’s form-handling service receives your submission and forwards it to my inbox by email. Netlify processes your submission solely to deliver it to me, and this may involve servers located outside Panama in the course of that delivery.
I process the information you submit on the basis of your consent, given by voluntarily completing and sending the form, and my legitimate interest in responding to prospective and existing clients.
I retain messages only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry or, if an engagement follows, for as long as applicable professional and recordkeeping obligations require. Where no engagement follows, inquiries are deleted after a reasonable period.
Under Law 81 of 2019, you have the right to access, rectify, cancel (erase), or object to the processing of your personal data (the “ARCO” rights). To exercise any of these rights, contact me at diego@anguizolalaw.com.
I take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information submitted through this site.
I may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
